Privacy policy: contact data, language cookie and external links.

This policy is intended to inform you about the collection and use of personal data under Swiss law, in particular the revised Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP, in force since 01.09.2023).

2. Data processed

  • Contact data: when you contact us (by email or via the website's form), we process the information you voluntarily provide, such as your name, email address, as well as the content of your message and any attachments (maximum 20 MB).
  • Anti-spam (reCAPTCHA): when submitting the form, an automatic check (reCAPTCHA v3, Google) may involve sending technical data (IP address, browser/device information) to Google to assess spam risk.
  • Technical data (hosting): this website is static and does not include traffic analytics. However, our hosting provider may keep technical logs needed for operations and security (e.g. IP address, date/time, requested resource, browser “User-Agent” information, errors).
  • External links (e.g. Google Maps): when you click an external link, the third-party service receives data (including your IP address) and applies its own privacy policy.

3. Purposes

  • Respond to requests and messages.
  • Follow up on exchanges and prepare a scope/contract.
  • Ensure the security and proper functioning of the website (hosting-side logs).
  • Manage and improve the website (no third-party audience measurement integrated to date).

4. Processing principles

  • To respond to a request (pre-contractual measures / professional relationship).
  • Our overriding interest (security, abuse prevention, service stability).
  • This website does not use non-essential trackers to date. If that changes, an appropriate consent mechanism will be implemented and this policy will be updated.

5. Retention periods

  • Contact data: transmitted directly by email and kept in our mailbox for the time necessary to process and follow up on your request. They are not stored in a database or on the website's server.
  • Technical logs: according to the security settings of our hosting provider Infomaniak, kept temporarily (usually from a few days to 6 months).

6. Recipients and processors

  • Internally, only by persons who need the data to handle your request.
  • Our hosting provider: Infomaniak Network SA (web hosting).
  • Our email provider (mailbox hosting linked to info@energiaconcept.ch): Microsoft (Microsoft 365).

We do not sell or rent your data.

7. Hosting location / transfers

The website is hosted with Infomaniak, a Swiss provider with infrastructure in Switzerland (per its public information). If transfers outside Switzerland/EEA were to occur via third-party services, this policy would be updated.

8. Cookies & trackers

  • Language preference cookie: ec_lang (duration: 12 months) is set when you change the language via the language menu. It only contains a language code (fr/it/en) and is not used for advertising.
  • Local storage (form draft): to prevent data loss, your browser may temporarily store a draft of your form (name, email, message) in localStorage. The draft is cleared after the message is sent.
  • Audience measurement / marketing: no third-party tracking tools (analytics, pixels) are integrated on this website to date.
  • Third-party services: if you leave this website via an external link (e.g. Google Maps), those services may set their own cookies/trackers under their policies.

9. Security

We implement reasonable security measures (HTTPS, access restrictions, updates, hosting safeguards) to protect data against unauthorized access.

10. Your rights

Under applicable law, you may request access, rectification, deletion, or object to certain processing by emailing info@energiaconcept.ch .

You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

11. Updates
